In Front of the St. Louis Cathedral

This weekend the French Quarter was crowded for the “French Quarter Festival.” For three days bands played and people ate. Stages were scattered around the Quarter.

Pirate’s Alley Art Show

The “Pirate’s Alley Art Show” has been a tradition for roughly seventy years now. It takes place in conjunction with the “French Quarter Festival” in April each year. The New Orleans Art Association handles the organization of the show. Artists buy space along Pirate’s Alley, Père Antoine Alley and Royal Street. There are artists who annually participate. And there are customers who annually come.
