Last Shots of Bayou des Familles

From the other side of the lawn I took some final shots of Bayou des Familles. I also walked near the water’s edge. Before leaving the area I took a photo of the back windows of Restaurant des Familles.

More of the View

There’s plenty to look at when visiting Bayou des Familles. I took time to photograph different parts of the view. Some yellow irises were in bloom that day. Blue skies reflected in water make bayou photos so much prettier.

Bayou des Familles

A door from the bar leads outside to the porch, on the side of the building. Then there is a ramp that continues to ground level. Below are some photos of Bayou des Familles.

The Bar and the Dining Room

The bar area continues into the main dining area. Here are some more photos of items that decorate the bar and dining area. Also, there’s a shot towards the entrance and finally a view Bayou des Familles.

Upstairs, Downstairs

There is a staircase, close to the bar, that leads to a balcony space that is used for private parties and/or storage. While I was up there, I took some shots of the high ceiling and dining space below. Next to the staircase is a large fireplace that includes a replica Cajun house and a painted oar.
