Martin Wohlgemuth Demonstration

Artist Marty Wohlgemuth was the demonstrator this morning. He painted a costumed (plumed) lieutenant on a horse in a Mardi Gras parade.

These are shots taken in the front of the Eastbank Regional Library in Jefferson Parish. It is located on West Napoleon Avenue near Clearview Parkway.

Pressed the Button

Today I photographed some artwork and I accidentally pressed the shutter button. I didn't what know I'd done until I imported the images to my computer. This time it was a "happy accident."

Twelfth Night!

And so the carnival season begins with Twelfth Night. Mardi Gras is late this year, February 28th. After this past fall we are definitely ready to have some fun. Let the good times roll.

I have a wreath on my door. Time for purple, green and gold!
