Back inside the Visitor’s Center, I managed to take photos of the Water Garden in an inner open courtyard. Since the doors were locked to the garden, I had to make do with taking pictures through the window. Thus concludes my visit to the Memphis Botanic Garden.
Exiting the Rose Garden, I soon found myself back at the Visitor's Center. I strolled through this Sculpture Garden with its patio. It wasn’t a big space.
The Rose Garden made up for the last garden. There were a variety of blooming roses all across the garden. At the center, there was a pond with lily pads.
Remaining on the pathway, I briefly walked near the Conifer Collection. This section wasn’t particularly big. So then I continued on to another garden.
Evergreens lined the way into the Iris Garden. At the center was a sculpture surrounded by a pond including water lilies. Circular flower beds surrounded the pond.
It was a bit of a distance from the last garden to Audubon Lake. By this time I was a bit tired; so I took these few shots and moved on to the next area. Walking around the lake was more than I wanted to do.
Eventually I arrived at a gazebo. It was covered in vines. The path ended there, so I had to backtrack the way I came. Along the path there was another bench in a semicircle. This one was more hidden by foliage.
The Butterfly Garden included wooden bridge across a small pond. I had to dodge a few water sprinklers. There was bench that was almost hidden in its own semicircle.
