With these remaining shots, I finished my journey through the Japanese Garden. In addition to the red bridge, there is a wood bridge across another part of the pond. I crossed it to return to the far side of the pond. Again the koi swarmed. To see more shots of the koi go to my blog pic folio. Also, see a video of the koi on my blog video journal.
Two walls of bamboo marked the entrance to one side of the red bridge. I passed through them as they waved with the wind. Once on the bridge I took photographs to the left and to the right.
As I came around the far side of the pond, I noticed a shore full of rocks. The path wove around trees and bushes. I soon found myself approaching the red bridge.
So, I started to wander around the pond. Like the other gardens, there was plenty to photograph. Slowly I walked the circumference of this small body of water.
Following the pathway, I made my way closer to a red roofed shelter atop a hill. Along the way I took photos from various views. I started my climb up the hill.
The Seijaku-En Tranquility Garden was my favorite place of all the gardens. I strolled around the paths of the garden. They took me around a pond full of koi.
