The rest of the exhibit continued outside the building. Again there was a winding pathway. Several of the last dinosaurs towered over me. And of course there was a Tyrranosaurus.
Before I exited the building I was confronted with a dinosaur feeding another one. Yes, it was a bit grim. Another dinosaur sported a mouth full of teeth that reminded me of a crocodile.
Just because the moving models were not real, didn’t make walking among them any less creepy. They certainly were detailed and colorful. Their limited motions were accompanied by sounds.
The first part of the exhibit included a winding path with the dinosaurs among plants. Each dinosaur was identified with a sign. Additional signs discussed the time period and the plants that era.
Currently the Audubon Zoo has a dinamation exhibit called “Dinosaur Adventure.” Since it is up for a limited time, I visited the zoo and took pictures. So, here’s my journey. Near the entrance of the zoo is a sample dinosaur to encourage people to seek out the show.
