Watering New Lawn

After the grass was in place, I had a lot of watering to do. I figured the photos wouldn't be as interesting until the spring when the grass comes back. It was installed rather close to its dormant time of year.

Preparing for the New

Sand was added before the new lawn squares were put down. Also, some much needed drainage pipes were added. Boy that was a lot of sand.

Out with the Old

Last fall I replaced my lawn. Here are some shots of the old lawn pulled up. It had to be killed first.

Replacing Pipes

One house project that I did this summer was to have old pipes replaced under my house. The workers pulled out pieces of cypress as they dug holes under my house. My neighborhood was built on top of a swamp.
