Whimsie Artists

This weekend the Whimsie artists had their annual outdoor art show. Again, McGehee School was the location for the show. Artists had their displays in the front yard of the school. I arrived near the pick up time for the show. The sky was overcast, but it did not rain.

McGehee School is an all girls private school in the Uptown Garden District of New Orleans. It was founded in 1912. The school has been used in films – including “Miller’s Crossing.” Below is the famous gate at the front of the school. Through the gate you have an overall view of today's outdoor art show.
