Conrad Albrizo's "Industrial Louisiana" Mosaic

On Wednesday night, the Jefferson Parish Historical Commission and the Jefferson Historical Society of Louisiana celebrated the golden anniversary and restoration of “Industrial Louisiana,” a Conrad Albrizo mosaic. Also, there was recognition of 30th anniversary of the Jefferson Historical Society of Louisiana. The mosaic is located in the jury assembly room of the Thomas F. Donelon Courthouse located at 200 Derbigny Street in Old Gretna.

Jefferson Parish Government Center

Here's the beautiful new Jefferson Parish Government Center located in Old Gretna. I was prohibited from taking any pictures inside except for those in the jury room with the mural.
