Front Hall

At the Poydras Home Art Show, my work was located in a front hall. This year I played dots in concentric circles. The paintings turned out like bullseyes. Below are some photos of the art hanging in the front hall and the side room off the hall.

Dining Room and Porch Space

This past weekend was the 18th Annual Poydras Home Art Show. At midday I went to see where my art was hung this year. Here are some shots of rooms from the show. 

Poydras Home Art Show

At the Poydras Home Art Show, my work was located in a closed in porch space. Natural light illuminated it bright colors. Yes, I painted dot paintings again this year.

Front Hall, Side Room and Dining Room

The majority of the inside artwork hung in the dining room and front hall. A side room was designated for a special photography show. Even before I arrived, some art had already sold.

Entering Poydras Home

The sign was on the fence with balloons. The gate on Magazine Street was decorated with balloon boquets. Tents were everywhere for the Annual Poydras Home Art Show.

Dining Room

Again, I went early to photograph my paintings all hanging together.
They were located in the front hall of the building. The majority of the show hung in the Dining Room. There was table of volunteers to handle sales from the show.

Juried Show Inside

The juried show was displayed on large pegboards inside Poydras Home. A refreshment table had punch and assorted goodies. A special photography exhibit was set up in a side room off the entry hall.

Poydras Home Art Show and Sale

On weekend of November 6th and 7th, 2010, Poydras Home had their annual Art Show and Sale. Again artists were invited to submit art for a juried show inside and have booths under a big tent. A few artists had their own tents. Here are photos from the event.

The Juried Show Inside

This year I made a point of arriving early for the Poydras Home Art Show and Sale. I wanted to be sure I photographed my three works hanging in the show. Last year one piece sold before I arrived. Upon entering the front hallway, my works were on the right side of the display, grouped with some smaller pieces on one board.
