Last Tuesday night the New Orleans Saints rode in their own parade using floats on loan from several of the local Mardi Gras krewes. The parade halted many times as the parade wound it’s way through downtown streets. I happened to catch the event at Lee Circle.
As we stood there, the parade continually stopped and started. Gradually folks were leaving allowing the rest of us to move closer to the route. Taking photos of the parade was not easy.
Here are the remaining floats I photographed. By this point, the person who was driving wanted to leave. I don’t think we missed to many more floats. Anyway, I was there.
Last Tuesday I waited for the Saints Parade at Lee Circle in Downtown New Orleans. Given the cold temperature and wind chill, I wore a heavy coat and scarf. Here are a few photos of the crowd that gathered.
