View from a Bench

Again I left the track to take in the view from a bench under a shady cypress tree. Finally I had a view of the fountain up close. Here are some different views located near the bench.

Back on Track

From the lagoon I returned to the track. I noted an exercise station along the route. A sign provided instructions for an exercise using the equipment.

Along the Bank

Next I followed a gravel path to another spot along the lagoon bank. Now I could see around the curve in the lagoon. A distant fountain of water was visible at this point. By now the ducks were swimming in the lagoon.

Lagoon

The sculpture was near the park lagoon. Green algae covered the surface. I spotted some ducks making their way to the lagoon.

Current

From the memorial I decided to take a closer look at the sculpture “Current” by Swiss artist Beat Kriemler. It was made out of rolled steel and copper tubing.

Memorial

Walking along the track, I noted a memorial with a flagpole. I decided I should take a closer look. I’ve included some more shots of moss-covered oak trees.
