Again I left the track to take in the view from a bench under a shady cypress tree. Finally I had a view of the fountain up close. Here are some different views located near the bench.
From the lagoon I returned to the track. I noted an exercise station along the route. A sign provided instructions for an exercise using the equipment.
Next I followed a gravel path to another spot along the lagoon bank. Now I could see around the curve in the lagoon. A distant fountain of water was visible at this point. By now the ducks were swimming in the lagoon.
From the memorial I decided to take a closer look at the sculpture “Current” by Swiss artist Beat Kriemler. It was made out of rolled steel and copper tubing.
Walking along the track, I noted a memorial with a flagpole. I decided I should take a closer look. I’ve included some more shots of moss-covered oak trees.
