Oaks lined both sides of the track as I approached Magazine Street. Some branches lay on the ground. The oaks created shadow patterns on the grass and on the track.
Cecile's Crepe Myrtle Grove includes a loop with benches and hills with shelters at each end. Moving on from this area and continued on the track. Before lone I arrived at the next exercise station.
Having resumed the track loop, I wandered over to a clump of trees with a sculpture below it. It depicted a father and son carrying fishing poles. From there I approached Cecile's Crepe Myrtle Grove.
From St. Charles Avenue I reentered Audubon Park. On both sides there were large columns. I passed the fountain again and returned to the track and resumed my walk.
Leaving the fountain I went out the park gateway to St. Charles Avenue. The roads that used to lead in and out of the park are now blocked from automobile traffic. I went around the front to capture some of the details of the entrance.
