Adventure Island

From the Gulf of the Mexico tank I decided to visit Adventure Island. It is an area for kids to play and learn. One area allows kids to pet sting rays.

View from Above

Following the corridor I passes windows that provided an overhead view of the Gulf of Mexico Tanks. I could see the various fish, sharks and manta rays swimming below.

Sea Otters

Moving on to the next space, I found a variety of displays under the area devoted to Sea Otters. So many folks were standing in front of that tank. Even when did get close enough for a photo, the sea otter kept moving. I’ve placed that shot on my blog
pic folio.

More Tanks

Here are more of the tanks I saw as I explored the area. The sea horses were quite small. I really had to look in order to find them. I've included some closer shots on my other blog pic folio.

Seahorses

Next I wandered from tank to tank viewing communities of sea life. I eventually arrived at the area designated for Seahorses. There were large sculptures of Seahorses at the entrance

Tropical Sharks

To the right from there was a tank labeled Tropical Sharks that included sharks. Across from the tank was a balcony overlooking the lobby. The large killer whale and whale, that hung in mid air, were eye level there.
