Kids Art Festival
Art in April Festival
Art in April is an annual festival which celebrates arts and crafts from the St. Bernard Parish area. This year it was held in front of the St. Bernard Parish Court House.
Since Katrina, the fleur de lis has been a rallying symbol for New Orleans and its surrounding areas. The fleur de lis was prevalent on many of the items for sale at the festival.
This is the St. Bernard Parish flag. The Chalmette Monument is depicted on it to commemorate the final battle of the War of 1812 fought against the British.
