Rocky & Carlo's Restaurant

As I finished taking photos, restaurant workers were preparing to close the restaurant. Here's more about the restaurant's history. Click items on the left to see the variety of dishes available on the menu.

A Look at Rocky & Carlo's Now

When I read that the banquet was going to be at Rocky and Carlo's Restaurant, I decided it would be an excuse for me to bring my camera. I haven't been back to the restaurant since Katrina. It was a very different place when I visited last time. Here are some photos of the murals and knick-knacks on the walls. Enjoy!

The New Board

At the the end of all the ceremonies the new St. Bernard Art Guild board gathered for a group picture. The banquet took place in a separate room from the main dining room of Rocky and Carlo's Restaurant. The guild members and guests ate before the program began.

Inductions

The new officers were sworn in next. Each one was given a special induction ceremony. I photographed them in order.

Dinner and Gift Exchange

After perusing the extensive menu, we placed our orders with our servers. One in particular kept us entertained throughout the meal. He even sang for us. Afterwards we played a gift exchange game that involved stealing gifts. There was a limit on the number of times a gift could be snatched/circulated. We had a fun and filling evening.

Riverbend Bistro

From the moment I sent foot in the Riverbend Bistro, I was impressed with the beautiful eclectic artwork inside. What better place for a group of artists to go dining. The menu offered an array of cuisines including local favorites. It was hard to choose what to order.
