For the third Christmas in a row, my family went to La Côte Brasserie at the Renaissance Arts Hotel in the Arts District. Again we enjoyed making selections from a six-course menu. The lobby and atriums of the hotel are filled with art. This time the lobby was decorated for Christmas. I shot some pictures while I was there. See my blog pic folio for some close ups at the hotel.
The Latter family was the last of four families that owned this house. When their son Milton H. Latter died during World War II the family turned the house into a public library. The house sits on a hill facing St. Charles Avenue.
