Christmas Tree

There was a Christmas tree in the Lobby, but it was more understated than in the past. Anyway, I took a couple of shots for the record. OK, I'm moving on to the Carnival Season. It started on January 6th.

Lobby

After dining I snatched some photos of the Lobby and few new pieces of art. I enjoyed seeing what was new. Too bad the gallery wasn't open.

Breezeway

In the space between the outer and inner front doors are two pieces of art. They had replaced the pieces I saw the last time I dined the hotel. I really liked these two.

Lobby Below

While on the second level I took a shot of the two sitting spaces in the hotel lobby. I love the bright colored spirals on the carpet. A skylight provides natural lighting during the day.

Courtyards Continued

The second courtyard had more pieces in it. I stopped to photograph each one. I wondered if someone would peek out from one of the rooms.

Above the lobby were two atrium courtyard spaces. Sculptures are spread among the flower beds. Most of them I've seen there before.

Back to La Côte Brasserie

This past Christmas my family dined at La Côte Brasserie at the Renaissance New Orleans Arts Hotel. It was three years ago since we last celebrated there. I took some photos again since some of the art has changed since that last time. Here are some photos of the restaurant.

A Renaissance Arts Hotel Christmas

For the third Christmas in a row, my family went to La Côte Brasserie at the Renaissance Arts Hotel in the Arts District. Again we enjoyed making selections from a six-course menu. The lobby and atriums of the hotel are filled with art. This time the lobby was decorated for Christmas. I shot some pictures while I was there. Last year I forgot to bring my camera. This year I remembered since my family again dined at La Côte Brasserie at the Renaissance Arts Hotel in the Arts District. The lobby and atriums of the hotel are filled with art in addition to the hotel’s gallery space. I snapped some shots of the various works.
