Monkey Hill

Living in an area where the landscape is mostly flat, makes having any kind of hill a big deal. In the case of Audubon Park there is Monkey Hill. As a kid I can remember playing on the hill. Kids would ride their bikes down the hill. When the zoo ditched the old animals cages for open habitats, the lions were given reign over the hill. In recent years people were again given access to the hill. Now there are structures to climb. There is water to splash.
