Carrollton Avenue South Claiborne Avenue Intersection
Finally the streetcar route was restored on Carrollton Avenue in Uptown New Orleans. So now riders can travel from the Carrollton Claiborne intersection (pictured below) to Canal Street which in Downtown in New Orleans. On a recent Saturday, there was a celebration of the streetcar’s return. People were invited to ride for free. Businesses along the route had entertainment and/or events planned.
