The last area had a wide assortment of salads and appetizers. I had a hard time making up my mind earlier. When I took photos of the ice sculptures, I was told that the chef carved them himself. They were a built melted by the time I took the photos. As I stood there, the lights illuminating them
changed color.

The Courtyard and Dining Room Entrance
Another Christmas at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans
Yesterday my family was treated to Christmas Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. The hotel lobby and hallways were lit up with Christmas trees full of lights. As we waited for our seating, a balloon lady, Santa Claus and the Sugar Plum Fairy came over to greet us. I wandered into the courtyard to see the large Christmas tree.

Dinner and Gift Exchange
After perusing the extensive menu, we placed our orders with our servers. One in particular kept us entertained throughout the meal. He even sang for us. Afterwards we played a gift exchange game that involved stealing gifts. There was a limit on the number of times a gift could be snatched/circulated. We had a fun and filling evening.

Riverbend Bistro
From the moment I sent foot in the Riverbend Bistro, I was impressed with the beautiful eclectic artwork inside. What better place for a group of artists to go dining. The menu offered an array of cuisines including local favorites. It was hard to choose what to order.
Outside The Palms Casino and Riverbend Bistro
The annual St. Bernard Art Guild “Christmas Party” was held at the Riverbend Bistro, located at 8001-B W St Bernard Highway in Arabi, Louisiana. It shares a building with The Palms Casino. First I took some photos of the outside building. I even spotted a fish sculpture from the Festival of the Fins.
