Even though this was a man-made environment, I still enjoyed the view. I was amused with the mural on the duct work. It mimicked the colors of the surrounding foliage in order to help it blend in with the environment.
Once I started photographing this area I kept finding more and more subjects I wanted to photograph. There were waterfalls, plants, pathways and all kinds of textures. Never mind that there were no fish. I enjoyed walking the path.
There’s just something about having a view from above. I enjoyed viewing the atrium space from this level as I traveled the Treetop Loop. Actually the loop did not make a complete circle, but it did finish near where it started.
After viewing all the exhibits on the ground level, I climbed the stairs to walk the Treetop Loop. I anticipated a view of everything from above. From the moment I entered the Amazon Rainforest habitat, I was intrigued with the huts and walkways towering above me.
For the next part of my trip, I meandered between the various tanks in the Amazon Rainforest. Some of them were more difficult to see inside than others. Eventually I found myself near waterfalls.
Now I stood in front of a sign welcoming to the Amazon Rainforest. Ahead of me was an escalator and stairs. The escalator was not on, so I used the stairs. Here are shots I took while ascending the stairs to the Amazon Rainforest part of the Aquarium.
