Circling the Caribbean Reef

Circling the room of tanks I soon found myself in front of automatic glass doors. I stepped to the other side and took one more shot of the Caribbean Reef. My next stop was the Amazon Rainforest.

A Variety of Tanks

Soon I found myself at the other end of the tunnel. I wandered from tank to tank taking in the variety of water life. Each one had a different set up and lighting.

The Tunnel

The tunnel in the Caribbean Reef is first big thrill in the Aquarium. Fish swim above and to the sides of the tunnel. Light shimmers through the bubbling water. There are side windows to the tank as well. I took many photos as the fish stayed in constant motion.

The Lobby and the Caribbean Reef

Large sculptures hang from the ceiling of the lobby. One is a whale, another is a shark and yet another is a killer whale. On the far side of the lobby, water rolls down metal scales to a tiles pool below. A skylight illuminates this waterfall. To the left of the waterfall is the entry to the first part of the Aquarium, the Caribbean Reef.
