The House from MTV's Real World: New Orleans

On my recent streetcar ride I just had to snap a photo of the house used in MTV’s Real World: New Orleans. A lot of work has been done on it since the show was filmed here. Tourists seek it out still. Oh, and the house was used for filming in upcoming episode of “K-Ville.”

Street Cars Are Back on St. Charles Avenue!

The other day I took the streetcar from Napoleon Avenue all the way Downtown to Canal Street. It was about a forty-minute-ride. The driver made us re-board at Canal Street. Fare is $1.25 each way. It’s been ages since I’ve ridden on the streetcar. I’m glad they are running again.

Street Car Headed Downtown

A group of people waited to board this streetcar. Even after they were seated inside, the driver waited until a designated time to begin their journey downtown.

The Napoleon Avenue-St. Charles Avenue intersection is the furthest Uptown the streetcar travels at this time. Repairs are still being made on the rest of the line. It is only in the last month that the streetcar has been available for folks to ride to and from
the French Quarter.
