St. Bernard Art Guild held its Fall Members Show at the St. Bernard Government Complex on Sunday, November 30, 2008. Only recently has this building been open. This show is the guild’s first one at the complex since Hurricane Katrina flooded this part of the metropolitan area. As you can see, a cake was made to celebrate the guild’s return to the complex as well as the guild's 40th anniversary. There were also an assortment of refreshments.
These two paintings were rescued and restored following the flood. They again hang proudly in the chamber.
