Since April 4th, residents of Kenner have been enjoying “Music in the Park” on Friday evenings. Here are the photos I took. I have posted more detailed shots from the park on my blog pic folio.

Serranos Salsa Company

Wednesday I went to a film screening at Clearview Mall in Metairie. Since I was worried about traffic, I went to Serranos Salsa Company to eat before the show. It is located on the backside of the mall that faces I-10. The restaurant serves Latin food. Besides good food, there are plenty of art objects to view. Some of the work made me excited about painting. Below is a mural that wraps around the upper wall of the bar.
