Once I reached the sculpture, I made sure to photograph it from each corner. I even took some close up photos along the way. Shadows created by the sun’s angle made some views more difficult.
The New Orleans Holocaust Memorial was the first piece I visited near the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. A spiral path leads to a sculpture at the center. Looking at it from different sides reveals different designs. They are explained on a plaque nearby. The artist of the sculpture is Yaacov Agam.
