Final Photos of Veterans Plaza

And with these last few shots I concluded my walk in Veterans Plaza. The sun was beginning to set. It was time for me to get grab a bite to eat.

Bird Bath

From the Korean War Memorial I walked to the right. I came upon a columned pavilion with a birdbath. See below for shots as I walked around the columns.

Korea War Memorial

The Korean War Memorial is made up of five pillars that have triangular tops. Etched Korean War photos adorn plaques on each of the pillars. See some close up photos below.

Approaching the Flags

Walking around some more, I viewed more memorial plauques. Before long I was at the opposite end of the plaza. There were flags and benches across from a five pillared memorial.

Memorial Plaques

I took photos of each section as I circled the plaza. There were various plaques placed around the space. Soon I focused on a statue of a soldier.

Veterans Plaza

Then I proceeded to the plaza itself. As I walked, I shot photos glancing backwards and forwards. Finally at the plaza, I took some overall shots.

Gardens Along the Way

Along the way I explored the gardens. There were begonias in bloom. Soon enough I caught a glimpse of the plaza ahead.
